@cryptidcraftcollective – a local queer collective of 7 who make art based on nature, horror, surrealism, and queer joy! Many of them deal with disabilities or barriers that make it difficult for them to pursue selling their art alone, so they teamed up to share the product of their queer creative joy with others! They create and play with the mediums of sculpture, painting, handcrafted notebooks and paper, queer fiction books and zines, and jewelry.
@arthurbutusdesigns Bringing a whole new meaning to the term “colourful language” Arthurbutus Designs offers a truly unique form of artwork that uses sound-colour synesthesia as inspiration. Using their unconventional perception of the world, Jes creates mandala-like designs in colour palettes based on specific words, names, and even music!
@leathersugar, a local bdsm artisan brings clever and simple designs that are functional and super affordable, using leather, ropes, and 3D prints.
@stab.it.pretty – Noah (they/them) is a non-binary, queer, and disabled mixed media fiber artist behind Stab.it.Pretty – busy stabbing things until they’re pretty. What began as a healing outlet after chronic illness changed their life has grown into a joyful, radical art practice rooted in care and community.
@gardensgrimm – Leah is a ceramicist and storyteller who has been twilighting as a Theatre Arts Educator for more than a decade. Her ceramics are hand built, painted with whimsy, and act as both art pieces and functional ceramics. As a fat, queer, chronically-ill cis-woman, her art explores and celebrates bodies and body image, with sweet little nature motifs and teeth, lots of teeth! Her work is generally food safe and functional, a saucy addition to any home!
yuko_fuji_art – Yuko is a visual artist specializing in detailed ink drawings. Her work translates into unique products such as keychains, stickers, and select original pieces, some of which explore shibari-inspired themes.
@messrs_leather – Based in Vancouver’s Chinatown, Messrs Leather is a body-positive custom gear workshop serving all bodies and all genders! I make a wide variety of products from kink wear to home goods and everyday accessories. I love a design challenge and am always happy to discuss a special custom project.
@threeracoonsstudio – Three Raccoons is East Vancouver based, one person operation, making silk screened patches and t-shirts. Fix up those ripped jeans, add more decoration to that jacket of yours, or just piss off that conservative uncle or yours with a big ol’ selection of hand made sew on patches. Looking for a new graphic tee that will impress your friends and intimidate your enemies; we got you there too.
@hopepubktarot – Hope Punk reads tarot through a queer, anti colonialist framework that dares to dream of a better world. Come find a new story for yourself among colourful cards and wickedly smart interpretations.
